Abstract: Introduction: Humanized care in nursing care for chronic patients in palliative care in the Emergency and Urgency Unit brings new perspectives on improving the quality of life of these patients, as they are cared for in a way that is targeted to their needs and with better results in their clinical condition and understanding of their health-disease and finitude process. Analyzing the issue of the visibility of palliative care in the follow-up of nursing care for chronic patients and the benefits of this care practice, we have that this present work justifies its research based on the need to separate the discussion on palliative care and humanization of Nursing care in Urgency and Emergency, it becomes possible to obtain better conditions for the applicability of this practice and provide it to more individuals and offer more quality of life to chronic patients. Objective: Explain the role of the nursing in assisting patients in palliative care in urgency and emergency. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review, with a descriptive method, bibliographic research and a qualitative approach. The research will be carried out by searching for data in the Virtual Health Library (BVS), SCIENTIFIC ELECTRONIC LIBRARY ONLINE (SCIELO), Google Scholar, DATASUS, Electronic Nursing Journal and PubMed. The following keywords will be used to search for articles: Urgency; Emergency; Palliative Care; Nursing, which will be searched in DeCS/MeSH. The research will be carried out between january and May 2025 with a qualitative approach with the aim of expanding the discussion on the proposed theme.
