Abstract
Introduction: Athletes from various sports, and even different levels of performance, professional or amateur, are frequently exposed to injuries. When injured, they often lack anatomical knowledge about the trauma. Regarding the knee joint, it has a high injury rate in various sports, and the athlete often lacks accurate information about the injury. It is believed that educational guidance on the anatomical knowledge of the knee joint provides a better understanding of the injury, presents the basis for the treatment to be given, and consequently engages the athlete in recovery and prevention of new injuries. Objective: To propose, through a lightweight and educational technology, anatomical awareness of knee ligaments in athletes. Methodology: This is a research project for the development of a lightweight technology, carried out in September 2025. Initially, internet articles were researched for the theoretical and technical foundation of the content used, in addition to illustrative images on the subject. The content to be used, as well as the images that made up the poster, were selected, this format being chosen as a lightweight technology. The research was conducted in accordance with bioethical principles and fully respected Resolution No. 466/12 of the National Health Council, which establishes guidelines and regulations for research involving human beings. Result: The poster is the size of an A4 sheet, measuring 21 x 29.7 cm, in which the predominance of the color blue stands out with 4 images, highlighting the ligaments, demonstrating their anatomical position and the name of each of these structures. There is also the presence of brief informative texts, aiming at understanding for the public that will use this technology. Final considerations: Knowledge of these structures is important for athletes to better understand what is happening in that injured region, providing pathological and therapeutic understanding, incorporating the athlete as a main actor in the rehabilitation and reintegration process into their daily and sporting activities.
