Abstract: This article aims to describe the application of ecodesign and sustainability principles through educational practices aimed at children, using the reuse of discarded materials in the construction of toys. The central problem addresses the improper disposal of broken toys, which significantly contributes to the increase in solid waste production and the waste of materials. In this context, the "Reciclarte" project is proposed during the Ecodesign course of the Design program at Unifanor. This creative workshop integrates environmental education, innovation, and playfulness, encouraging children to develop ecological awareness from childhood. The methodology adopted is qualitative, with the application of practical workshops in a school environment. The results indicate an increase in children's engagement in sustainable practices, as well as the development of creativity and a sense of collective responsibility. It is concluded that educational initiatives based on ecodesign contribute significantly to the formation of more conscious citizens.
