Abstract: This article presents the HandSculptAR-Web project, an innovative proposal that seeks to democratize digital modeling in augmented reality (AR) environments, making it accessible through web browsers without the need for specialized hardware. This is achieved through hand gestures tracked with MediaPipe Hands, integrated into the Three.js library, which allows the creation and rendering of 3D graphics in browsers. The system allows the manipulation of three-dimensional models using two different modes: object mode, which uses pinch, open, and spread gestures to perform rotation, translation, and scaling; and sculpting mode, which recognizes user operations in real time, such as pushing and stretching mesh vertices. The research aims to increase accessibility to creative tools in the field of computer graphics, exploring intuitive methods for human-computer interaction, with an emphasis on usability and pedagogical potential.
